JR Mural on Houston

Following the trail of Shepard Fairey, Kenny Scharf and many other outstanding artists, the mural on the corner of Bowery and Houston in NYC has been taken over by JR this week. Frenchman and TED Prize winner JR “combines art and action and deals with commitment, freedom, identity and limits” in most of his work. His true identity still remains unconfirmed.
